Our Process

During innovation and development stages, we curate creative packaging that not only looks the part, but performs as expected; our sales team and production operators work closely with our structural designers to ensure all requirement specifications are met across the board.

Designs and material specification are determined based on strength and shock absorption required no matter the application or environment. We assess transportation factors, storage, and stacking efficiency in pallets as a part of this.

We further consider your costs to fulfil, ease of use including straightforward assembly and easy opening, and a high recyclability rate. See DiamondPak’s Sustainability objectives for more on this.

Prototyping

After our consultancy discussion, we’ll get to work on creating a prototype that aligns with your brief. We’ll infuse your desires into the product, as well as overcome any obstacles that may have prevented its production in the past.

Continued Investment

The extensive development of our prototyping and production services are aided by investments into industry-leading equipment and technology.

Thanks to DiamondPak’s innovative in-house tool, we’re able to quickly determine optimal pallet layouts, as well as weight endured from the stack, to help reduce transport required in the chain. This further feeds into our pledge for sustainability.

Alongside this, we’ve heavily invested in taping systems and proudly offer some of the most capable taping abilities in the UK. Unlike many plants, our in-house taping service allows the freedom to incorporate tape into bespoke designs seamlessly. What’s more, we have now launched fully recyclable, paper-based brown RippaTape to replace the unrecyclable plastic-based tape traditionally used.

Finally, DiamondPak has invested in 3D printing capabilities to further enhance our processes with bespoke machine parts, developed in-house.
